LOCATION Karafuu Beach Resort and Spa is located on the East Coast of Zanzibar and about a 50 minute drive from both Stone Town and Zanzibar International Airport.

ROOMES/SUITES Karafuu Beach Resort and Spa comprises of 89 Rooms and Suites in 3 categories, 28 Garden Rooms, 35 Cottage Rooms and 26 Junior Suites.

All rooms were thoughtfully designed to blend in with the environment and were built using local materials and furnished with traditional Zanzibar furniture. Garden rooms feature a bedroom, wardrobe, bathroom with shower, balcony, mosquito net, ceiling fan, independent air-conditioning, hot and cold running water, hair-dryer, telephone, room safe and minibar. Cottage Rooms have access by a private garden and are positioned closer to the beach just behind the Junior Suite. Junior Suites are beachfront or on a small hill with stunning views of the ocean.

FACILITIES Marikiti is the resorts main restaurant and serves buffet breakfast, lunch and theme dinners from the terrace overlooking the pool and ocean. Le Grand Bleu is an à la carte restaurant located on the white sand beach serving a seafood menu. Theme dinners are also offered every week in the boma area. Zanzi...bar is the resorts main cocktail bar and opens until late. Karafuu Beach Resort also features a PADI certified dive school, 2 floodlit tennis courts, swimming pool with swim-up bar, games room, wireless internet ( payable) and a boutique. A range of excursions can also be arranged.
